Arcsona, A year in Review
When we set our 2014 goals at the end of 2013 I did not think it was possible to accomplish all of the things that we set out to do. As I look back at the year I realize not only did we accomplish them, we surpassed them.
Arcsona’s culture has always been based on working hard, working smart, and being creative. We want the “hard stuff”. We want projects, and problems that stretch our employees to do their best work, but also come up with creative solutions to make the “hard stuff” seem easy.
Arcsona’s team developed a powerful solution for automated testing of SAP CAMs. Not sure what CAM’s is? It stands for Complex Assembly Manufacturing System and it is used in several industries. Arcsona developed an accelerator that allows for an approach that delivers consistent, repeatable and scaleable testing that reduces script development time by up to 90 percent and increases application test coverage to 85 percent or more. Better coverage reduces the risk and high cost associated with defects that leak into the production environment. We will go into greater detail in subsequent blogs about this solution so stay tuned.
We have also developed a testing accelerator for SAP HANA. Are you migrating to HANA? Thinking about it? Is it sitting on a shelf somewhere? You’re not alone. We spent time talking to customers about HANA, trying to figure out what the largest obstacle for implementation was. Many of the issues boiled down to risk mitigation in the migration process. Would they lose data? And how do you avoid migrating “bad data” (duplications, incorrect accounts etc..) Our SAP HANA Testing Accelerator delivers consistent, repeatable and scaleable tests that identify conversion errors early, reducing the overall conversion risk and cost. It shows whether the data is inconsistent or the query is incorrect enabling conversion teams to pinpoint and resolve errors quickly.
In between solving the world’s testing problems Arcsona found time to embark on a new partnership with SugarCRM. SugarCRM is a complete CRM solution that automates core sales, customer service and marketing processes, with a focus on the individual. We saw such growth in 2014 that we had the need to expand our location, and have opened another office in Saltillo Mexico to better support our near shore model. This location continues to be a huge growth area for us and we could not be more happy and excited about the future of Arcsona.
